Greenhouse, a leading organization for documentary filmmaking, aims to continue to support cultural exchanges between participating countries and contributes to mutual understanding between audiovisual actors of the European Union and the Mediterranean region, by underlining both common values and inherent cultural diversity.
2010 Hot Docs Awards Announced!
Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival capped off a week of industry programming and film screenings with its 2010 Awards Presentation. Ten awards and over $72,000 in cash prizes were presented to local and international filmmakers, including awards for Festival films in competition and those recognizing emerging and established filmmakers.
The Hot Docs Awards Presentation was hosted by Jian Ghomeshi, host of Q on CBC Radio One.
